Benedict XVI in the USA

It is our sincere hope that Benedict, who has the capacity to celebrate the great mystery of the sacrifice of the Mass, will do so in full view of the public. We pray, with this action, the few remaining priests will be inspired to resume the sacrifice of the Mass, we so dearly need in our country. We also pray that Benedict will call together all of the Novus Ordo bishops involved in hiding pedophiles, and publicly admonish them, retire them to monasteries for their penance, and elevate true priests to the bishoprics. We also pray that Benedict would then submit himself and his Novus Ordo bishops to valid apostolic consecration (those in use prior to Vatican II) and bring the assembly back in line with apostolic teachings.

Hi there,
I take it your blog site is pretty recent...maybe not as recent as mine...as you can see I 'launched' mine back in May this year 2008...so always looking to advertise...but finding it hard to find any Catholic blogs to link to...as all,so far have ties with the invalid Novus Ordo sect... yours looks the most encouraging to date . thus this posting. I have learnt since I left the illegal and invalid vatican II sect back in 2002 that most so called catholics either 'don't want to know the truth' or are simply 'in a spiritual fog'. I was an altar boy in the pre -vatican II days....and now after 40 odd years have been privileged to have served at 20 Masses to date...Prior to 2002, I and a few other were running round like 'headless chooks 'trying to fathom out all the confusion in the church...now we know it wasn't the Church after all...as they say...'the truth will set you free'
Of course, feel to check out mine as use whatever takes your fancy...

Thank you for your comments. I, like you, am in my 40's, 48 to be exact. I fell out of the Novus Ordo about 4 years ago. I think it was by the grace of God. I knew historically the Roman Catholic Church was the true Church of Christ.

I was however unable to reconcile the Church of today with the Church of let's say Ignatius Loyola or Francis of Assisi. I used to sit the pews during the Novus Ordo Mass biting my lip not knowing what was wrong but inside I knew there was something wrong.

By the grace of God I found a Parish in SD that has the fortune of Holy Mass offered by CMRI priests. I only hope you are so lucky.

As you can see my Blog is a part time affair. I can add a link to your blog if you add mine to yours with the understanding that either has the right to remove each other link if one wishes.

I see from your blog you are from New Zealand. CMRI has a priest by the name of Fr. Julian Gilchrist who is somewhere in your country. His contact information is: 104 Anzac Road, Whangarei, New Zealand or by e-mail: three_inone@hotmail.com . He is a validly ordained priest that offers the traditional sacraments and most of all offers the sacrifice of the Mass.

God Bless,

Hey,
I have a question, actually lots of questions bugging me.
In the ten commandments, the 1st commandment says "You shall have no other gods before me" - this made me think, Are the Buddhist people great sinners, since their god is Buddha not Christ? And the Muslims also, since their god is Allah? and also how about the tribal people in other diverse mountains, since they idolize trees, and rocks, and nature?

Just one of my many many questions. I am a catholic and I believe in God, however there's just this questions I have which are slowly growing to be doubts.

Kindly comment your thoughts. :)

Thanks

Dear Anon 101:
I am not an expert on the subject. I agree with Luke: 6: [37]" Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven."

However while we should not judge others we are free to admonish them with charity and share our faith with the Pagan and Moslem. After all, introducing the Pagan and Moslem to the true faith of Jesus Christ is true charity if done with love and patience. We can and should share our faith with the Jew also.

The sad fact is that the Buddhist does not worship a god or gods but many buddhas ( men that they believe achieved nirvana through their own works).

Buddhists pray to them for guidance as the think they have reach heaven after death. These men did not create the world but were created.

It is sad that millions of people around the world do not know God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Is Allah the same God of the Christian and Jew?

Many question whether the Moslem worships the same god as the Jew and the Christian.

One of the reasons why Catholics question this is the fact that Allah (their god) tells them it is ok to kill Catholics if we do not accept their faith.

Our God tells us to pray for our enemies and love our neighbor as ourselves.

How can we reconcile Allah (the Moslem god) with Our Holy Father in heaven, who is the Father of our Savior, Jesus who reigns with him and the Holy Ghost for ever and ever? God is quite different from the Moslem god.

In my next post I will post two prayers from the Tridentine Mass ( the used by Catholics prior Vatican II) illustrating our obligation to pray for the conversion of Jews and pagans.

Yes, “thou shalt not have any gods before me”. As Christ said in John 6:51-52: [51] "I am the living bread which came down from heaven. [52] If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world."

Hopefully this helps. Pray for wisdom and understanding. Do not be shy to express your faith even though you will be criticized for it.
